inTechnology to grow Aerohive’s channel

Demand in BYOD and mobility

Gold Coast-based company, inTechnology Distribution, has been appointed local distributor by Wi-Fi and Cloud-managed mobile networking provider, Aerohive, as the vendor looks to increase its Australian presence.

According to inTechnology managing director, Mark Winter, the partnership proves to be a win-win for both parties due to the increasing demand for bring-your-own-device (BYOD) and mobility, as well as the ever-growing relevance of Wi-Fi.

“Aerohive, with its ‘controller-less’ design, is a clear innovator and this is what we look for in a vendor, innovation,” he said.

One of inTechnology’s chief responsibilities is to grow Aerohive’s local channel.

“We are encouraging channel partners of all types – regardless of which wireless vendors they may be working with today – to take a look at the Aerohive solution and to keep up with the market as it continues to move to Cloud-based services,” Winter said.

As a result, the distributor is certifying its engineers to conduct in-country certification training for channel and end-user customers.
