Adobe creates new postion to drive Cloud business in Asia Pacific

Damon Scarr to head new Adobe marketing Cloud team

Adobe had appointed Damon Scarr to a newly created position to drive new digital partnerships and customer engagement in the Asia Pacific as the company moves to the Cloud.

Scarr, as Asia Pacificpartners director, will build on the company's strategy to develop joint solutions supporting customer engagement of the Adobe Marketing Cloud.

Mr. Scarr brings over 12 years of digital experience to Adobe. He has been with Yahoo!7 since its inception, most recently as commercial director where he has been responsible for the company’s advertising sales strategy, operational execution, and client and agency relationships.

Adobe's Marketing Cloud offers a complete set of analytics, social, advertising, targeting and web experience management solutions to deliver the right content to the right people in real time.

Adobe’s managing director for Australia and New Zealand, Paul Robson, said Scarr would be a valuable addition to the executive team at a time when the company was experiencing sustained growth across the Asia Pacific.

“We are very excited to have an executive of Damon’s calibre join the Adobe team,' he said. "Adobe is changing the world through digital experiences and Damon will be a key member of the leadership team responsible for delivering marketing cloud solutions via our partners across Asia.”
