The Missing Link scores top IBM Tivoli accreditation

Becomes the first IBM partner across A/NZ to achieve AAA accreditation for Tivoli storage

IT outsourcing service provider, The Missing Link, has become the first IBM business partner across A/NZ to meet certification criteria for the IBM AAA accreditation for Tivoli storage.

“We are constantly improving our in-depth knowledge of the products and solutions we offer,” The Missing Link managing director, Alex Gambotto, said. “We have made significant investments in developing our skills in the Tivoli storage brand, which is part of our commitment to our premier partnership with IBM.”

To achieve this status, The Missing Link was required to provide validated case studies, outlining the complex client requirements and detailed solutions that were implemented to address their needs. It also has five certified specialists within its team.

Gambotto said it has a new backup-as-a-service product called Smart Protect, which uses Tivoli technology. The Missing Link specialises in the mid-market and enterprise arena.

“We’re also looking for continued growth in our managed services and ISP offering, Smart Connect,” he said.
