IP business communications solutions provider, Interactive Intelligence, is expanding its presence in Western Australia with the launch of its first office in the state and two new employee appointments.
The company said, in a statement, that its office, located in the Perth central business district, will provide a direct presence and support the high volume of interest in its product suite from specialised sectors within the region.
Interactive Intelligence A/NZ and the Pacific managing director, Brendan Maree, said the state is increasingly investing in unified communications and collaboration solutions in support of enterprise communications.
As a result, he sees a need for its solutions in the region.
“Western Australia has undergone a tremendous transition, both in terms of economic growth and technology adoption. Now, with senior executives on the ground and new business operations in the state, we look forward to providing our customers with the software and services they need to succeed,” he said.
Interactive Intelligence has named Michael Stangroom as its WA territory manager.
Stangroom has had more than 30 years’ experience in the IT industry. He previously worked for 10 years in several roles at Communications Australia, including as WA state manager, general sales manager and unified communications general manager.
Prior to that, he worked at Siemens as its state manager and sales, business partner and channel manager. He also was previously employed as the general manager for Comtel Service. In addition to Stangroom, Rick Stansfield joins the Interactive Intelligence Perth office as a pre-sales engineer.
He will be responsible for supporting partners, customers and prospects with solution deployments. Stansfield joins Interactive Intelligence with 14 years’ of technical experience, especially within IP telephony implementations.
