Google has again replenished stocks of its Nexus 4 smartphone in the Australian Play Store.
The hard to come by smartphone went on sale last Thursday, but stocks of the 16GB model lasted less than seven hours before being listed as "temporarily out of stock".
That temporary hiatus is now over, with both the 8GB and 16GB models of the Nexus 4 available to order on Google's Play Store. A 2-3 week wait is listed for shipping.
Google has not clarified stock levels, so it remains to be seen how long the device will be on sale for. The temporary hiatus suggests the company may finally be able to meet demand for the smartphone.
The Nexus 4 first went on sale through the Play Store in mid-November last year, but both the 8GB and 16GB models were listed as "coming soon" less than an hour later.
Google is heavily promoting and selling its own-brand devices but the company has severely struggled with Nexus 4 stock levels since the mid-November, worldwide launch.
In addition to online sales, the 16GB model Nexus 4 went on sale "exclusively" through Harvey Norman retail stores last week for $496. However, most Australian stores are already out of stock of Nexus 4 devices.
The outright price through Harvey Norman is $97 more expensive than the Play Store, though Google charges $19.99 for shipping.
