Security software vendor, Websense, has made two channel appointment, assigning Marie Nalty and Stephen Richardson to take charge of its channel sales and accounts from Sydney.
Nalty fills the newly-created role of channel sales manager, in which she is responsible for driving all aspects of Websense’s channel business. This includes sales and solutions strategies, and market development.
She is also tasked with supporting management of global partners across Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) by helping with sales of Websense Triton.
Through her 25-year IT industry career, Nalty has gained experience in sales and partner management with both vendors and channel partners. She most recently worked at Oracle as global alliances manager where she was in charge of the relationships between the vendor and its global systems integrators (SIs). Nalty has also held roles at Sun Microsystems, Chevron International Oil, and Apple Computer.
Richardson joins Websense as channel account manager, and is in charge of developing the vendor’s partner network in A/NZ.
He was most recently at Ingram Micro, where he held channel account and development management roles. He has also taken care of partner enablement, development and training, marketing campaigns, and pipeline management for vendors such as EMC and Cisco Systems.
Originally from the UK, Richardson has also held roles at Mobile Tornado and InTechnology.
