Security software vendor, Symantec, has expanded its partner program with the inclusion of Mobility Solutions Specialisation, adding to the existing 11 specialisations available.
The addition was made on the back of the pressure on businesses to allow employees to use mobile devices, and is designed to provide recognition for Symantec partners who have acquired comprehensive knowledge and expertise in its mobile solutions.
“Symantec’s Mobility Solution Specialisation provides partners with the tools and resources needed to increase their marketability, drive additional revenue, and get the job done,” Symantec Pacific Region strategic solutions director, Sean Kopelke.
Mobile application management (MAM), mobile device management (MDM), and mobile security are at the core of the specialisation, and give organisations granular control over their mobile deployments and offer different levels of oversight on mobile devices according to customers’ specific policies and needs.
Partners who achieve the specialisation will receive access to margin points, licensing, and services and hardware revenue, in addition to the Symantec Opportunity Registration Program as an additional financial incentive.
Partners will also be granted training, tools, and technical resources, as well as access to the Beta Product Program. These are available to those who become specialists. Additionally, Mobility Solutions Specialisations acts as a stepping stone to achieve silver, gold, and platinum partner status.
