Business application software vendor, Infor, has acquired software-as-a-service (SaaS) based marketing resource management (MRM) software vendor, Orbis Global, to boost its Epiphany suite.
Infor Epiphany is an enterprise suite that provides businesses with an integrated marketing, sales, and service approach to customer relationship management (CRM).
The integration of SaaS MRM is significant for Infor as it strengthens its CRM systems by enhancing marketing lifecycle management for faster decision making from marketing, sales, and service.
"Acquiring Orbis Global enables Infor to create a closed-loop CRM solution that bundles marketing, sales and service, providing customers the right tools to plan, execute and monitor multi-channel marketing campaigns,” Infor senior vice-president and general manager, George Wright, said.
“Infor Epiphany will… [enable] fast and informed decision making across all programs and channels. Additionally, MRM is a key enabler of customer experience management and rounds out the Infor Customer Interaction Hub (CIH) that we recently introduced.”
