Dell appoints A/NZ channel boss

Technology giant, Dell, has promoted Peter Murphy to the role of Australia and New Zealand commercial channel business general manager.
Murphy will be based at the company’s Melbourne office.
In his new role, Murphy will be responsible for managing the growth of Dell’s commercial channel business and PartnerDirect program.
Murphy has been with Dell for 12 years in both Australia and the UK. Most recently, the held the position of public sector director for Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia, and Tasmania.
“I have worked with Dell for more than a decade and have a comprehensive understanding of our channel partners, their priorities and customers’ needs,” Murphy said.
“I am looking forward to meeting with partners in the coming weeks to further investigate how Dell can help grow its business, win in the datacentre and remain a stable and long-term business partner.
