Telstra International's Group MD, Tarek Robbiati, steps down

Telstra International Group’s Group Managing Director, Tarek Robbiati, has stepped down from his role to become CEO of Flexigroup, an ASX- listed diversified financial services company.
Robbiati is the former deputy CFO of Telstra Corp and is chairman of CSL-NWM, a mobile operator in Hong Kong.
According to a statement by Flexigroup, Robbiati was keen to relocate to Australia since leaving Australia to lead TIG and CSL-NWM in Hong Kong where he has been since July 2007. He will join the company in the new year.
Flexigroup provides leasing, vendor finance programs, mobile broadband, lay-by and other payment services for consumers and businesses.
Telstra International spokespeople could not be immediately reached for comment.
