Lynton to lead Samsung Australia IT division

Samsung Electronics Australia IT division director, Todd Lynton.
Electronics vendor, Samsung Electronics Australia, has appointed Todd Lynton to lead its IT division as director.
Lynton is tasked with leading the company’s IT product teams across notebook, print, digital imaging, monitor, and storage.
He will also be responsible for setting the direction for Samsung’s IT retail approach.
“It’s a great time to be joining the Samsung IT division, especially with the upcoming launch of the ATIV Windows 8 Smart PCs range, which will seek to offer a unique set of services and content experiences along with some of the very latest cross-category design principles,” Lynton said.
Lynton has over 20 years’ experience in IT product management and marketing. He joins Samsung from Fitbit, where he held the role of Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) and Singapore country manager. Throughout his career, he has also worked for Panasonic, Polaroid, and Olympus, and has run Cisco’s consumer products for A/NZ as managing director.
