The 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards have been announced and presented at a glittering event at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney.

Attended by 650 IT industry leaders, the Awards recognised the very best in the channel for 2012. They also marked the 21st anniversary of ARN, the clear cut leader in the channel publishing market both online and in print in Australia.

Hosted by Vince Sorrenti, and featuring a variety of musical performances including Furnace and the Fundamentals, the packed house loudly applauded and cheered for its favourites as nominees and winners were announced.

As is the case since the Awards inception, the event built to the final annoucement of the nights: the three latest inductees into the ARN Hall of Fame.

This year the honour went to Microsoft's Pip Marlow, Andrew Thomas of Thomas Duryea, and Distribution Central's Nick Verykios.

ARN would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the winners, the finalists and the nominees and thank our many judges who gave so generously of their time.
