Australian events-based social media platform, Jedo, has announced partnerships with local events and entertainment companies, including Enta Ticketing Solutions, TicketSwitch, Venuetix and Media Splash to provide it with the opportunity to attract more events on its website.
Enta Ticketing and TicketSwitch are global companies responsible for 40 million and 7.5 million ticket transactions across the glove, respectively. Venuetix is an independent Australian ticket sales agency. Media Splash is a new media marketing and communications agency focused on online video marketing.
As part of the agreements, the new sales partners will be offering Jedo’s promotional services to their event organisers.
According to Enta Ticketing managing director, John Godwin, Jedo presents a unique proposition in the way it promotes local events across Australia.
“At Enta we have worked with a wide range of organisations, but we have never seen anything quite like Jedo and we look forward to working with [them],” he said.
Jedo founder and CEO, Anneliese Urquhart, who sees the partnerships as providing both validation and business to her company, will be joining Godwin on a national roadshow to visit numerous Enta Ticketing clients this month.
