Bluewolf continues global expansion

Global consulting firm, Bluewolf, has expanded its Australian operations with the strategic acquisition of Australian customer engagement consultancy, Velteo.

According to Bluewolf, the move will enable it to deliver consulting and Cloud managed services to a combined portfolio of Australian and global brands that want deliver global Cloud transformation and customer experiences using mobile, social and Cloud solutions.

Bluewolf principal and co-founder, Eric Berridge, said the company worked closely with Salesforce.com to identify Velteo as the ideal candidate for it to provide global clients with enterprise services.

“Today's businesses are moving at warp speed to penetrate new markets and to engage with customers. Our global reach assures that we can deploy local teams of consultants that operate under a single umbrella and bring global best practices across cultural and geographic boundaries,” he said.

It also announced that Velteo’s co-founder, Jamie Pride, will assume the position of Bluewolf Australia managing director.

He will report directly to Bluewolf International general manager, Sue Goble.

Goble claimed this was the right time to expand Bluewolf’s presence in Australia, to keep ahead of the explosive demand for Cloud services globally and locally.

Prior to running Velteo, Pride held the position of services vice-president at salesforce.com and was a partner of Deloitte Australia’s CRM practice.

He has more than 18 years’ industry experience, having worked for innovative technology companies locally and internationally.

“Australian businesses have clearly demonstrated their appetite to adopt and embed new technologies into their workflows quickly, as they rely on cloud services more than ever to deliver against their bottom line,” Pride added.
