APC becomes Synnex partner for Getac products

APC gains A/NZ market penetration, Synnex customers to leverage APC expertise in ruggedised hardware

Rugged hardware technology designer and manufacturer, APC Technology, has been appointed as a reseller partner for the Getac range of ruggedised devices by and for distributor, Synnex Australia.

Getac Technology, a Mitac subsidiary, is a manufacturer of ruggedised computing solutions, including laptops, tablets, and handheld equipment.

According to Synnex Southern Getac sales specialist, Justin Spencer, the partnership with APC will give the distributor’s Australian and New Zealand customers access to a specialist company that understands the requirements of rugged environments.

For APC, a long-term Getac supplier elsewhere, the agreement opens up a new market opportunity.

“Having supplied the Getac range for over 10 years, we have understood the inherent features, benefits and quality of the products and how this translates into the Australian marketplace,” APC managing director, Scott Begbie, said.

“This new partnership Synnex gives us the support required to really penetrate the market.”
