Unified-communications company, NSC Group, has named Chris Arter as state manager for Western Australia in Perth.
Arter, who has over 20 years of experience in IT sales, has held senior sales-management roles with Avnet Technology Solutions and Hitachi Data Systems. He relocated to Perth from the UK after 15 years with IBM.
NSC managing director, Craig Neil, said Arter’s appointment is an important milestone in the company’s growth in Western Australia.
“The Western Australian market is very important to us. In 2011, NSC acquired two Perth-based businesses: PABX Services Group (PSG) and the data-networking business of industrial-automation provider ZI-ARGUS (WA) Pty,” he said. “The appointment of a senior manager in WA is a response to our continuing growth. There is a lot of merit in having someone local on the ground, with deep knowledge of the local market.”
NSC helps companies with customer contact and communications. It also provides consulting, applications and solutions for converged voice and data networks and unified communications.
