UK-headquartered IT specialist, Certero, has appointed Ivan Kladnig to lead its Asia-Pacific operation as regional director from Sydney.
Kladnig, who has over 15 years’ experience in IT and software business development across Asia-Pacific, said that his appointment comes as Certero is targeting the region for its strong market credentials and to provide it with modern and credible solutions, which the company believes the market is lacking.
In his role, Kladnig will be overlooking operations across the region, and taking charge of upcoming business deals which Certero is on the verge of unveiling.
Certero managing director, John Lunt, said that the company will shortly announce a number of fresh Australian deals with major names in the banking and construction sector.
“Within the PC power management (PCPM) market, rising energy prices and greater restraints on power delivery will create a much greater demand for our products,” he said. “The new carbon tax scheme in Australia… will also place a greater emphasis on large firms to become more energy efficient.”
“There is huge potential tied with the maturity of both the software asset management (SAM) and PCMP markets in Australia.”
