Red Rock Consulting acquires Tripoint Online to boost Oracle expertise

Tripoint’s technology services are based around Oracle’s PeopleSoft Application stack

UXC Ltd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Red Rock Consulting, has completed the acquisition of Tripoint Online Pty, which provides online managed services solutions for applications to servers and storage.

The deal cements Red Rock as the local managed service provider covering the Oracle stack, it said in a statement. Terms were not disclosed.

Tripoint’s technology services are based around Oracle’s PeopleSoft Application stack.

Red Rock will fold the Tripoint business into its existing managed services practice. The team will be led by Gerry Williams, general manager - Support & Managed Services.

“Increasing our leadership position in the Oracle and managed services market is a key strategic direction for UXC and this investment is core to that strategy,” UXC managing director, Cris Nicolli, said.

“A large attraction for us in proceeding with this deal includes the fact that Tripoint brings a high pedigree in PeopleSoft consulting combined with a mature service delivery model and strong multi-vendor partnerships that will compliment Red Rock’s current market position.”

ASX-listed UXC services medium to large entities in the private andpublic sectors across Australia and New Zealand. It also provides ICT Solutions in Consulting, Business Applications and Infrastructure.

Red Rock Consulting provides Oracle consulting and managed services in Australia and NewZealand.
