Additionally, Taylor will be responsible for executing Software AG’s strategic vision of helping customers to achieve faster business results.
In commenting on the role, Taylor said, “I am particularly excited with the capability the company delivers to senior business leaders, bridging the gap between IT and the business.”
Taylor joins Software AG from Oracle, where he spent 15 years in multiple senior roles, 10 of which were spent in the middleware market. Most recently, he was Australia and New Zealand vice president and Fusion Middleware general manager.
According to Software AG Asia-Pacific and Japan senior vice-president, Stephen Keys, the appointment comes at a time where business process management begins to mature and produce opportunity in the local market.
