Communication solutions vendor, ShoreTel, has inked a new distribution agreement with Unity Systems, a business unit of Distribution Central.
The agreement was made in an attempt at increasing local market specialisation and availability of the ShoreTel business communications solution to partners and customers across Australia.
According to ShoreTel, it partnered with Unity Systems as it aims to provide resellers with the ability to offer standalone ShoreTel products, as well as fully-integrated, multi-vendor solutions designed to best meet its customer needs.
“Unity Systems has a strong reseller and technical skills base to support ShoreTel’s UC and contact centre solutions, and Distribution Central and ShoreTel are very well matched in terms of our rates of growth in the local industry,” ShoreTel Australasia regional director, Jamie Romanin, said.
Distribution Central managing director, Nick Verykios, said the addition of ShoreTel to its Unity Systems portfolio enhances its UC offering and also broadens its channel enablement capabilities for the partners, especially for channel services such as technical pre and post-sales support, online quoting and configuration, and product lifecycle management.
As per the agreement, Unity Systems will also support the channel with highly skilled technical support and procurement capabilities.
“Unity Systems provides a range of channel enablement services to support our partners’ efforts in taking emerging and advanced unified communications solutions to their customers, to solve their business problems,” Verykios said.
