Network security vendor, Clavister, has named Vadis Systems as its distributor for the A/NZ market.
As per the agreement, Vadis Systems will distribute Clavister’s full suite of network security products for telecom operators, Cloud service providers and large enterprises.
Clavister said it picked Vadis Systems for its strong channel partner base in the region and good track record in providing value added service to the A/NZ channel and customers.
According to Vadis Systems managing director, Sepp Stepanian, distributing Clavister’s range of security offerings will enable it to grow within the A/NZ region, especially within the Cloud, enterprise and telecommunications markets.
“Clavister met and exceeded all the attributes we look for in a network security vendor with their products, pre and post-sales technical support, and commitment to nurturing their channel partners,” Stepanian said.
Clavister intends to use this distie deal to further grow its footprint into the Asia-Pacific region. It acquired IT/IP security gateway solutions provider, Amaranten Asia, in November 2011 and has since launched its newest range of network security solutions and expanded its regional sales and support organisation.
Clavister’s newest portfolio includes Clavister Virtual Series; Clavister Eagle Series; Clavister Lynx Series; Clavister Wolf Series; and Clavister PolarBear Series.
On the telco side, Clavister will support the transition to 4G, LTE and data offloading trends.
“Clavister is optimistic with the Asia-Pacific market growth potential. With the growing adoption of Cloud services and today’s mobile workforce, we also see increased provision of high performance, future proof network security solutions for Cloud service providers and enterprises,” Clavister Asia-Pacific Ceo, Andreas Asander, said.
