Oki Data signs Leading Edge Computers for access to rural customers

Printer manufacturer, Oki Data Australia, has appointed Leading Edge Computers to support sales growth of its products through the reseller’s network of 140 independent and privately-owned IT specialist companies located in rural and regional areas.

Leading Edge, which has been trading for more than 15 years, is a specialist, independent IT reseller in Australia.

Alongside its market reach, Oki selected Leading Edge for its footprint, brand reputation, and specialist service support.

“We’re impressed with the scale, reach and proven expertise of the Leading Edge member network and are pleased to have the organisations as our newest reseller organisation in Australia,” Oki Data Australia national sales manager, Greg Mikaelian, said.

Regional customers will benefit particularly as a result of Leading Edge’s expertise with end users, he said.

Leading Edge group merchandise manager, Lee Scott, added that “members will now be able to build revenue streams in areas such as technical support and the supply of consumables”.

As part of the agreement, these members also have the option to manage customers directly, or go through Oki Data.
