Google deepens integration between Plus and Blogger

Google has extended the integration between its Blogger publishing service and its Google+ social network.
Since October of last year, Google has allowed people to replace their Blogger profile page with their Google+ profile. However, that only works for people who blog using the same name on their Google+ profile.
Now, Google will let people link their Blogger blog and their Google+ account without requiring that they share the same profile information.
This means, for example, that people, such as business owners, celebrities and politicians, will be able to associate their individual blog with their Google+ business, organization or brand account.
This will be possible via a new Google+ tab that's being placed in users' Blogger dashboards.
The integration will also let Blogger publishers notify their contacts in Google+ circles that they have posted content to their blog.
"If they like what you share, followers can +1 or reshare your post to their own friends on Google+. This ripple effect exposes links to your content to a wider audience," Google said in a blog post on Tuesday.
Google plans to add more functionality to the Google+ tab in the Blogger dashboard.
