UXC Connect achieves Cisco Advanced Plus status for telepresence

Australian infrastructure solutions provider, UXC Connect has been granted Cisco TelePresence Video Advanced Plus Authorised Technology Provider (ATP) status.
The accreditation means that UXC Connect, which has been a Cisco partner for 14 years and gold partner for nearly 10 years, has demonstrated it can plan, design, and implement the TelePresence solution for its customers at the top technical level, a process that involves practical simulation.
The TelePresence Video Advanced Plus ATP program is designed to strengthen partners’ knowledge of the solution and extend its offering to sell and support based on the Cisco Unified Communications Manager platform and TelePresence Interoperability Protocol.
TelePresence has three levels of certification: entry, advanced, and advanced plus.
It took UXC three to six months to gain accreditation as the process was not linear.
To achieve the status, UXC Connect had to “have a certain number of people certified at an advanced level, including solution architects and sales people,” UXC Connect innovation and marketing director, Iggy Pintado.
“The significance is that we have met the requirements of Cisco to be operating at the Advanced Plus level to run TelePresence for any organisation.”
Pintado said that TelePresence is still in infancy, and as bandwidth becomes faster, particularly with the NBN, UXC Connect will be at an advantage due to the certification.
“Being accredited by Cisco as being a partner that can implement at the highest level is the key benefit for us,” he said.

Cisco proudcts is usually expensive, I love it, but I never get one.
