EMC Corporation has promoted Alister Dias to Australia and New Zealand regional country manager.
Dias, who has 25 years of experience in the IT industry, is replacing David Webster, who has been promoted to Asia-Pacific and Japan president. Dias will report to Webster.
In his new role, Dias will be responsible for developing the company’s business across the region. He will be leading EMC’s leveraged and integrated go-to-market teams and will take care of channels, partners, and sales.
Prior to the promotion, Dias was regional general manager. He has occupied several roles since joining the company 12 years ago including Australian senior account director, and New Zealand country manager.
As Asia-Pacific and Japan president, Webster will assume responsibility for sales and customer operations throughout the region.
Webster, with over 20 years of IT experience throughout Asia-Pacific, has been at EMC for seven years, leading both the South-east Asia and Australia and New Zealand business during that time.
