Ingram Micro and Ricoh sign exclusive distribution deal

IM becomes sole Australian distributor of Ricoh's laser printers

Ingram Micro Australia has become the sole distributor of Ricoh laser printers to the reseller channel in Australia.

Ingram Micro (IM) has a long and prominent history in the laser printer market and sees Ricoh as a premium vendor that can expand its existing offering.

“Ricoh is a leading technology manufacturer and a tier one vendor. We know that adding it to our portfolio widens the breadth of our print offering. The Ricoh brand has a strong reputation and its products are of excellent quality, making it an ideal partner for Ingram Micro,” Ingram Micro's VP and Managing Director A/NZ, Jay Miley, said.

Ricoh business-class laser printers feature a three-year onsite warranty as standard and, as such, are unique within the IM range. With a low total cost of ownership (TCO), Ricoh offers resellers a robust laser print solution for their business customers.

“When Ingram Micro approached us to become our sole distributor of laser printers in the Australian market, we knew they would be a great fit as there was a clear shared appreciation of adding more value to our customers beyond the ‘box’,” Ricoh Australia managing director, Les Richardson, said.
