Samsung to release Windows RT tablet in October

Samsung is looking to launch a Windows RT tablet when Windows 8 is launched in October.
The Korean technology giant has been working on a tablet device running Windows RT which works with ARM processors, according to Bloomberg. The handheld PC will supposedly arrive in October along with Windows 8. See also: Windows 8: the complete guide.
Yesterday Microsoft confirmed that Windows 8 will be fully released by the end of October, signalling when Windows 8 laptops, PCs and tablet will start hitting the market for consumers to buy.
HP is planning to launch a Windows 8 tablet, too, running on an x86 desktop chip. Samsung's tablet will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
Microsoft itself will release two tablets called Surface RT and Surface Pro. These will not only compete with other Windows 8 tablets but Apple's iPad and Android-based alternatives.
