Autotask signs Sterling IT as 350th Australian client

Hosted IT business management software vendor, Autotask Corporation has signed Sterling IT as its 350th Australian customer since establishing its local presence in November 2011.

Autotask is a Cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) application.

Autotask CEO, Mark Cattini, believes that the company has been able to achieve such demand in an eight-month period as it has addressed a market need that has gone unaddressed for too long.

Additionally, Australia and New Zealand regional director, Adam Ross, said that the milestone reflects Autotask’s local sales and service support commitment.

“Around 90 per cent of our clients operate in the channel,” Ross said. “Sterling IT represents a very typical client for us with its own set of unique business challenges. It’s our goal to ensure our solution fits into our client’s current processes and can take them to the next level.”

Sterling IT, which runs on a staff of 10, selected Autotask over competitors as it works with its legacy system, rather than forcing it to make its systems work with other IT management offerings, the company’s managing director, Mark Pace said.

“We wanted to have a single means of viewing everything we do from sales prospecting, to project management plus fast, accurate billing,” he said.
