IP/Ethernet network solutions provider, Allied Telesis, has continued its channel expansion quest within the Australian market by signing Techplus Distribution as its fourth distributor for the region, to join Anixter, Pacific Communications, and WhiteGold Solutions.
Allied Telesis looked into the partnership as it aims to build upon its existing base of channel partners to support sales of data, video, and voice solutions.
The appointment is an extension of Allied Telesis’ existing partnership with Techplus owner, Connector Systems, who represents the provider in New Zealand.
“The reseller channel is an integral part of our business model and Techplus enables us to further capitalise on the growing interest in our solutions across Australia,” Allied Telesis Australia country manager, Scott Penno, said.
“Techplus’ staff of skilled deployment and integration specialists, along with their experienced support team will be integral to our success moving forward.”
From the distributor’s perspective, the partnership with Allied Telesis complements its existing portfolio. Techplus Australia general manager, Chris Barton, said that he is confident that the company can support Allied Telesis’ goal of channel business growth.
