Synnex Australia and rugged laptop and tablet computer manufacturer, Getac Technology Corporation, have recently inked a distribution agreement.
The deal aims to provide customers access to Getac’s wide range of rugged computing solutions through Synnex’s reseller network.
Getac Technology Corporation president, James Hwang, said the agreement includes the provision for Getac dedicated sales and service staff across the A/NZ markets.
Hwang claimed that Getac picked Synnex for its broad reseller network and expertise across vertical sectors including utility, public safety, defense, mining, and transportation in the region.
According to Synnex Australia CEO, Kee Ong, the additional range of rugged computing solutions would enhance the comprehensiveness of IT solutions to its value-added distribution network.
“This strategic partnership forms a key part of our commitment to information technology and telecommunication distribution.
“By partnering with Getac, we are dedicated to offering customers a wide range of rugged solutions backed by knowledgeable support, competitive pricing and superior service across the product lifecycle,” he said.
