Droid Incredible hits Verizon shelves Thursday for $150 after rebate

Verizon Wireless said the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE smartphone will be on its stores shelves exclusively on Thursday for $149.99 after rebate and with a new two-year agreement.

The 4-in. touchscreen device runs Android 4.0 and uses the HTC Sense 4.0, HTC's interface.

It includes a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and a 1,700 mAh removable battery. It also two cameras (with 8 megapixels in the rear-facing one) and Beats Audio, for richer sound.

Verizon has announced several smartphones that can be used on its LTE network in 304 U.S. cities. The LTE phones have average data rates of up to 12 Mbps on downlinks and up to 5 Mbps on uplinks, Verizon said.

New customers are subject to Verizon's Share Everything service plans that took effect June 28. The plans provide unlimited voice and texting across all of a customer's mobile devices and shared data plans for up to 10 devices.

Existing customers are not required to update to Share Everything, unless they have an unlimited data plan. Many customers complained when Verizon introduced the concept in mid-June.
