MyNetFone NBN services hit Armidale and Kiama

Both fixed and custom plans available

Hosted voice and data communications services provider, MyNetFone, has rolled out a range of residential and business NBN broadband plans in Armidale and Kiama.

MyNetFone’s NBN plans range from the $39.95 per month ‘My NBN Basic’ plan, which offers 20GB download allowance at a 12Mbps download speed, to a $99.99 per month ‘My NBN 100’ plan with 1TB allowance and a maximum 100Mbps speed.

The provider also offers custom plans and ‘Data Boosts’ packs which increase monthly allowance for a fixed price.

For customers in NBN construction areas, MyNetFone is offering ADSL2+ services and a free upgrade to the NBN once it becomes available in such locations.

As part of the launch, MyNetFone is providing number porting, which moves a customer’s existing phone number into the Cloud so it can be used with a VoIP service and retained if the customer moves into a different call collection area.

“With local number portability, we can slay one of the telco industry’s sacred cash cows: line rental,” MyNetFone CEO, Rene Sugo, said. “This will quickly become a thing of the past as consumers won’t need to hang onto their copper phone line to retain their phone number.”
