Vodafone New Zealand and Mobile Enterprise Application Platform (MEAP) provider, BlinkMobile Interactive have inked an exclusive telecommunications partnership that enables businesses to mobilise information across smartphones and tablets.
As part of the agreement, Vodafone business customers will be offered with BlinkMobile’s MEAP solution, which allows them to take any existing back-end information systems or Web accessible services and, through a single management platform, deliver various applications or mobile services to any device.
According to the company, the partnership with Vodafone New Zealand is the first BlinkMobile has signed with a telecommunications provider globally. Vodafone director of sales, Grant Hopkins, said Vodafone customers on the Blink Mobility Platform will be able to abandon paper systems in favour of remotely submitting reports, accessing applications and completing job sheets while they are out in the field.
“It’s a future-proof and simpler way for our business customers to work wherever they are. Organisations around the world are discovering the benefits of mobilising their workforce, and we’re proud to be at the forefront of this in New Zealand,” he said.
BlinkMobile said that it selected Vodafone New Zealand as it was attracted to the company’s visionary approach in providing business customers with a complete mobile solution beyond devices and data plans.
BlinkMobile has formerly established a number of partnerships with many organisations globally, and most recently signed a partner agreement with Tech Inject.
