Cleary joins VMware

Named A/NZ manager of partner marketing

Former Ingram Micro Australia director of marketing, Grant Cleary, has joined VMware as its A/NZ manager of partner marketing.

In his new role, Cleary will be working closely with service provider and alliance partners in joint go-to-market initiatives to ensure VMware maintains its virtualisation and the Cloud market position. Cleary aims to build on VMware’s initiatives in these avenues.

The appointment follows Cleary’s retrenchment from Ingram Micro Australia in March.

Prior to his role at Ingram Micro, he served at HP’s personal systems group as its director of marketing.

“I intend to work closely with channel and alliance partners to ensure our success,” Cleary said.
