Endomondo Sports Tracker
Cost: Free | Developer: Endomondo | Platform: Windows Phone 7 | Version: 6.1 | Size: 2 MB
There is nothing like a good jog in the morning and/or evening to get your blood pumping.
While it is fun to run around and get in shape without thinking too much about it, some of us want to keep a closer eye on what we do and what effect it has.
One way to do so is with a sports tracker, and Endomondo has released a comprehensive yet easy to use app for Windows Phone.
The app makes use of GPS to keep track of your journey and progress while engaged in a distance based sport, whether it is running, walking or cycling.
This means you can keep a close eye on the duration of the workout, as well as the distance, speed and calories.
The app also integrates will with the Windows Phone 7 start screen, where a Live Tile can be pinned to show your workout history or a newsfeed with updates.
Pros: Comprehensive and well designed.
Cons: Lacks detailed customisation of voice feedback option.
Verdict: It will make sure you won’t slack off during your workout
