FOX Sports Local is now available in the Windows market place.
The local app assists you in finding venues broadcasting live sport via the Fox Sports channels and provides you with the exact location, contact details and directions to the venue. It features the latest information on game times and provides you with scores, news and stats on live matches.
Once inside the venue, you can use the app to check-in to your social media sites to alert your friends of your location.
The app also allows you to pin your favourite venues to the home screen of your Windows smartphone, for quick access to information. This app was reviewed on a Nokia Lumia 800. Pros: Provides very accurate and timely information.
Cons: Doesn’t have links to news and videos – could do with more content.
Verdict: A must have for all sports fans.
