Before you want to go and watch a movie in the cinema, you usually want to be certain that it is actually good before investing in a ticket.

The Flixster and Rotten Tomatoes web sites are rich sources for movie information, so with the app you can easily access information through your smartphone.

In addition to movie reviews and showtimes, the latest trailers can also be streamed through the app.

The app makes use of the Live Tiles feature in Windows Phone 7, so the user can pin their favourite movies and cinemas to their start screen.

And best of all, all of this content is available for free

Pros: A wealth of useful movie content and information.

Cons: Prologued use can be data intensive.
