Bump
Cost: Free | Developer: Bump Technologies | Platform: Android | Version 3.2.1 | 2.9MB | 2.1+
Bump is an easy app to use if you wish to share photos, contacts or apps.
You can also use your social media networks to share your contact information and find friends in common with people you ‘bump’ with.
All you have to do is install the app in both the devices that you wish to transfer the content from and the mobile phone that you wish to receive the content to.
Then, open the app, choose the content you want to send across and gently ‘bump’ the other smartphone to send the information across.
The Bump technology works across Android and other operating systems.
This app was reviewed on a HTC Velocity 4G. Pros: Quick and easy way to share or transfer content.
Cons: Can’t bump across videos or songs.
Verdict: A pretty good app with the potential to be amazing if it enables video/song sharing in future.
