Unity Systems, a business unit of Distribution Central (DC), has been appointed as a distributor for LifeSize’s HD video conferencing solutions in A/NZ.
The partnership came about when Unity Systems, an existing user of LifeSize solutions, began looking for a solution for its video sector, according to DC managing director, Nick Verykios.
Unity Systems was selected for its technology focus, technical expertise, range of IT support services, and geographical scope, which includes offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Perth, and Auckland.
The distributor will now build out sales, systems engineering, professional services, and support teams dedicated to the LifeSize communications portfolio for enterprises, SMBs, and the public sector.
“We realise the value our resellers partners bring to LifeSize and we are committed to providing them with a fully encompassing channel program that supports their efforts and contributes to their ultimate success,” LifeSize communications A/NZ country manager, Tim Fulton, said.
“Unity Systems will provide a full range of channel enablement services to support our partners’ efforts in taking emerging and advanced unified communications solutions to their customers, to solve their business problems,” Verykios said.
According to Verykios, all its engineers have been certified for LifeSize, so Unity Systems is offering pre-sales support for resellers while they become certified as well. In addition, the distributor will offer training, sales workshops, and advanced hardware replacement.
Verykios hopes the agreement will generate revenue of up to $10 million for Unity Systems.
