Intel boosts A/NZ leadership team with two appointments

Torres to drive marketing and growth; Rajkumar to lead channel and distribution sales team

Intel has boosted its A/NZ leadership team with the appointment of Anna Torres as national marketing manager, and V.R Rajkumar as national reseller channel manager, both effective immediately.

Torres and Rajkumar, who have both held position at Intel for many years, will bring strong direction and vision to their leadership roles, according to Intel A/NZ general manager, Kate Burleigh.

As national marketing manager, Torres will be responsible for overall marketing strategy for the company in A/NZ, and will manage the advertising, public relations, retail, online, partner and channel marketing teams.

“Torres will manage a marketing team and together they will continue to focus on the growth and innovation of Intel’s brand in A/NZ,” Burleigh said.

Torres has nine years’ experience at Intel, having held the position of PR manager since 2007, before which she worked as strategic relationship manager within Intel’s enterprise group.

Rajkumar, will manage Intel’s local channel and branded distribution sales team in his new role.

Previously, he worked as distribution manager since 2007. He commenced his career at Intel in 2000 in India, and moved to Australia with the company in 2005.

“Rajkumar is well-known within the IT reseller channel and has presided over a number of critical technology transitions and new product introductions within his time,” Burleigh said.
