Cisco recently awarded its top global and theatre channel partners for 2012 at its Cisco Global Partner Summit in San Diego.

The global winners were selected from more than 280,000 Cisco channel partners worldwide for their outstanding performance in 2011.

Dimension Data Asia-Pacific nailed the award for Asia-Pacific, Japan, and Greater China Partner of the Year, Express Data received the global award for Innovation in Distribution and Ingram Micro received the award for Distributor of the Year. Westcon Group won Distribution Partner of the Year for the APJC region.

Cisco Partner Summit global awards recognise channel partners who demonstrate best-in-class business practices and serve as a model to the industry. Areas of consideration include: innovative practices, application successes, unique programs, problem solving and sales approaches.

The Cisco Partner Summit global and theater award winners are nominated by their Cisco theater sales teams. Nominations are reviewed by a group of Cisco worldwide and regional channel executives.
