Westcon Group named Distributor of the Year at Cisco Partner Summit 2012

Westcon Group Australia, has been named Distribution Partner of the Year for the APJC region at the recent Cisco Partner Summit 2012.

The award, which Cisco hands out to recognise “exemplary” channel partners that demonstrate “best-in-class business practices”, was one of seven awards that the Westcon Group received over several regions.

Comstor, the Cisco focused business unit of the Westcon Group, also collected several awards.

Some of the notable awards handed out to Comstor included Distribution Partner of the Year and Worldwide Distribution Partner Enablement for the UK branch, Distribution Partner of the Year for Comstor Mexico, Distribution Partner of the Year for the Dutch branch while Comstor Brazil won the award for Global Operational Excellence..

Cisco worldwide channels senior vice-president, Edison Peres, said the multiple awards presented to Comstor were proof of its “outstanding achievement as a Cisco channel partner in 2011”.
