Hitachi Australia channel business group general manager, Gaurav Sethi, and Hills SVL group general manager, Stuart Craig, confirming the agreement.
Hitachi Australia has appointed Hills SVL as its Australian distributor for its digital presentation solutions.
The distribution agreement between the companies will be effective as of April 1. As per the contract terms, Hills SVL will bring to market Hitachi’s StarBoard interactive whiteboards range, digital projectors and accessories.
The companies will be working closely in providing resellers and customers with integrated, functional and value-add solutions, in-class training, support and service, as well as delivering hardware and software solutions.
The partnership came about when Hitachi Australia was seeking a national distributor with a strong focus on customer service and technical proficiency for its digital presentation solutions.
Hitachi Australia channel business group general manager, Gaurav Sethi, said the distributor of professional audio and visual products works well for the company as the collaboration represents a significant milestone in bringing Hitachi’s solutions to the Australian market.
“One of the key reasons for selecting Hills SVL as a distribution partner was its extensive experience in the Australian audio visual market,” Sethi said.
Hills SVL AV national manager, Dan Fletcher, said that Hitachi’s digital presentations range is a perfect fit with its current line up and aims to offer its customers a “turn-key solution for all their audio, visual, control and lighting requirements”.
