Deloitte Leadership Academy
Cost: Free | Developer: Deloitte | Platform: BlackBerry | Version: 1.0.0 | 99 KB |
Being a business leader is not an easy thing and no one knows this better than Deloitte.
To help busy executives to grow their leadership skills, the Deloitte Leadership Academy education program gives them a much needed insight.
The BlackBerry app has been designed to push the content to the smartphone so that users can watch the videos while on the move.
The other key aspect of the Deloitte Leadership Academy that users can make use of on their BlackBerry is to connect with a closed community of business leaders.
Typically, videos consist of business school representative, thinkers and CEOs giving short lectures and interviews on a variety of topics, such as talent management, setting strategic direction, and driving growth and innovation.
While the mobile mobile version of the app is free, only sample videos are initially available, as the full Deloitte Leadership Academy program is paid service.
Pros: Does exactly what it sets out to do and plays video content from the Deloitte Leadership Academy service.
Cons: Video files are quite large and not optimised for 3G networks.
Verdict: If you need a boost of confidence in your leadership skills, Deloitte Leadership Academy will do the trick.
