Connect2Field has announced that it has closed an initial capital raising, with funding from a number of A/NZ private equity investors.
Connect2Field is a provider of Web-based job management and scheduling software.
A formal board has been formed as part of the funding to assist with company growth.
It comprises CEO Steveo Orenstein, Gavin Partridge, Ben Kepes, Paul Orenstein, and Chris Woodforde.
Orenstein said, “The number one priority when raising the funding was to make sure we got smart money with the connections and experience to cover all aspects of the business.”
“Alongside the funding, we have managed to put together a really strong board that includes former executives from a number of organisations that have navigated the rapid growth that Connect2Field is currently enjoying,” he said.
With a Web-based job management and scheduling solution designed to allow companies to instantly capture job details and forward them to mobile workers, Connect2Field is shifting the way in which service businesses operate.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
