Ingram Micro has announced its national Partner Enablement Roadshow 2012.
The five-city - Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth – roadshow starts in Adelaide on May 15 and winds up in Sydney on May 29.
Ingram Micro director of marketing, Grant Cleary, said the roadshow aimed to both educate and excite resellers.
“It’s all about technology and solutions,” Cleary said. “We’ll have tier one vendor sponsors doing presentations on major topics such as Cloud computing plus we also want to educate resellers on how to deliver strong sales results.
“And we want to network with those resellers and bring them together with vendors.”
The mission statement for the Partner Enablement Roadshow is simple: Provide value to the channel via enablement and networking opportunities.
The Roadshow will feature a keynote speaker, Simon Harris, who will take attendees through a working session on sales effectiveness and How to Supercharge your Sales Force in 2012.
Harris is a Master Business Coach at leading business coaching company, ActionCOACH, an organisation delivering coaching solutions to thousands of SME businesses. He has been presenting to and coaching businesses for more than eight years.
Special guest speaker in Sydney and Melbourne will be Charlie Brown, the Technology Editor for Channel Nine’s Today Show.
Brown will speak about Tech Trends in 2012, and the growing use of social media by SMBs.
Ingram is currently looking for vendor sponsors. Interested companies should email marketingteam@ingrammicro.com.au. It already has significant interest in the sponsorships available.
Dates for the Partner Enablement Roadshow are: Adelaide, May 15; Perth, May 17; Brisbane, May 22; Melbourne, May 24; Sydney, May 29.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
