BigCommerce, a Sydney-based e-commerce platform, has launched a $2 million integration fund for developers.
The company is inviting developers from around the world to submit their integration and application ideas.
Approved entries will receive a portion of up to $20,000 to assist in funding their project.
Applications will be assessed on their ability to drive more traffic to stores running on BigCommerce, as well as their ability to integrate BigCommerce with existing systems.
BigCommerce chief marketing officer, Jeremy Arnone, said, “The idea here is simple: if developers want to build on BigCommerce, we want to reward them for their hard work with up to $20,000 per project.”
Developers can submit their applications through the company’s website.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
