Infrastructure provider, Thomas Duryea Consulting (TD), has been awarded the Symantec Master Specialisation for Endpoint Management.
The certification means that TD has demonstrated a high-level of expertise in consulting and technical services in endpoint management according to the guidelines set by security vendor, Symantec.
Thomas Duryea CEO, Andrew Thomas, expects the certification to bolster the consultancy’s image among customers that are seeking information protection and management solutions.
“We are excited to have our expertise recognised and to increase our skills as Symantec specialists in endpoint management,” he said.
“The master specialisation program enhances our skill-set in Symantec technologies to continue to deliver the responsive, specialist services our clients demand.”
The Master Specialisation program was set up by Symantec to recognise partners that have proven expertise and assist them with the skills and resources to better meet the needs of their customers.
“Achieving Master Specialisation for Endpoint Management recognises TD’s ability to deliver advanced consulting, technical and other services to their customers,” Symantec Asia-Pacific and Japan Channels and SMB vice-president, David Dzienciol, said.
To achieve the Master Specialisation, Dzienciol said a Symantec partner must first meet the requirements based on its knowledge of the vendor's solutions.
“Those who achieve Master Specialisation have demonstrated deep investment in Symantec and an expertise in delivering advanced solutions to protect their customers’ most critical information,” he said.
After a strong year in 2011, TD hopes the Symantec achievement will contribute to its “aggressive organic growth plan” in 2012 of turning it into a $100 million business.
"Securing and protecting data is a vital concern for today’s organisations and the Master Specialisation program with Symantec enables Thomas Duryea to continue to ensure that its customers are expertly served," Thomas said.
