HP ePrint service
Cost: Free | Developer: Hewlett Packard | Platform: iOS | Version 1.1.2 | 7.6 MB | 4.2+
With the HP ePrint service app, you don’t have to physically wait on your prints anymore. All you have to do is download the app and it is ready to be used!
You just have to select the email, picture or content saved on the clipboard, the Web or iTunes Shared service to start. The image quality can be varied.
You can also open a document from another app using the “Open In” function, which includes support for Microsoft Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, and Adobe PDF.
Users can then search for a public print location by using the “Near me” function that seeks the closest options via a GPS-based search, or by entering keywords in the search bar.
Once you hit print, you will get a retrieval code that you will need when you pick it up from the printing location. In the event that you are unsure how to get there, the app will show you directions to it on a map.
For corporate printing, the app supports HP ePrint Enterprise – a private, optional Cloud-based solution for corporate network printers that can be purchased separately.
This app was reviewed on an iPhone 4. Pros: Lets you print on-the-go.
Cons: Closest printer can be quite a distance away, depending on your location.
Verdict: Saves you the time and hassle of having to seek for public printers.
