Although the Windows Phone already comes packed with its fair share of utilities, there are always additional ways that users want to make use of their device.

For those who want those extra few functions out of their smartphone, Cool Tools is there to help out.

For the time conscious, a stopwatch with lap time is available, as well as a countdown with alarm.

A converter is accessible to help make sense of several conversion types, and the user can turn their phone into a ruler if needed.

The phone’s flashlight can now be accessed at will, and a set of THX clips will allow you to perform a sound check.

Pros: A set of practical tools available from a single app.

Cons: Some of the tools are not that useful.

Verdict: A handy Swiss Army knife of tools for the Windows Phone.
